The Letter of Appointment to the Position of Permit Holder provides a mechanism to formally appoint an individual to the designated role.
The appointed person must be able to demonstrate competency to perform the specified duties in relation to the position of Permit Holder by way of knowledge, successfully completing training and experience to the satisfaction of the Manager.
The letter is offered to the individual and must be countersigned as acceptance within a seven day period.
